At Huangshan.
I finally got around to editing the solar eclipse video. Check it out below!
This 2 minute video was takened in front of the Huangshan International Hotel in Huangshan, China on
July 22, 2009 around 9:32am.
I was trying to say that the eclipse was "fully developed" but you couldn't see it
because of the clouds covering it. Then I panned around to show how dark it was even though
it was 9:32 in the morning. Finally, the clouds had cleared and you can still see the eclipse to totality.
There was a Chinese couple standing next to me talking loudly at each other.
My camcorder was a Samsung SC-MX-10 with a 34X zoom. It generates an AVI file which isn't web friendly.
So I converted the AVI to Flash (FLV) so I could embed it into HTML.
The problem is the FLV video
lost resolution and doesn't look as good.
I changed the codec to H.264. The resolution is much better now!
